The world is turning, spinning, twisting, spiraling. It's all changing so quickly, spring to summer, summer to fall, right before our eyes. We don't do anything to stop it, what could we? So we're faced with two choices. We can either twist and spin with it, desperately trying to keep up with whatever life throws at us, or we can stubbornly stand still, taking it right in the face. Most of us, despite what logic is screaming in our ears, choose not to move. We don't want to take the things we love and let the world turn them into something we don't recognize. We'd much rather hang on to them as tightly as we can, and stand perfectly still, hoping that everything around us will take pity and stop it's constant metamorphosis. But it won't. It never will. So what happens when despite the odds, we keep on wishing and remain motionless?
