SAMPLE POST:
(From a different site and different character. Is that alright?)
His face flustered, and brandishing a beaming grin, Kailie peddled hard down the boardwalk bicycle lane. He didn't want to be late and get there after Coli! The wheels hummed and spun melodiously with the clicking and whining chain. Sure, the bike wasn't in the very best of conditions, but he had painted it rainbow only afew weeks ago. all that mattered was that it got him from 'A to B' since he lacked a car, and he rather enjoyed the freedom a bike supplied. His travel wasn't stopped by alleyways, boardwalks, or dirt. On other matters, Kailie rode along the white tipped afternoon waves, boiling up before crashing onto the pale sand. After living in New York for a year after highschool, he was happy here. There were better parties, and it was loud and constantly joyful in the big city New York. But, here he found even more happiness. Dearly missing his old friends, and his heart having been torn to move away from Hart, he didn't have any more plans for moving. Not for now. Steering to the left, he had come to the beach closest to Coli's house, figuring thats where he'd come. Considering they hadn't planned much to this, just did it, there was some guessing on his part. Dropping the metal framed bike as it's tires hit sand, Kailie ran playfully out into the white soil, kicking it into the air behind himself. Taking a quick look around, he didn't see Coli. But he was sure Coli would see him first. Removing a pale green t-shirt, Kailie dropped his shoulder bag, stuffing the shirt in. He'd have plenty of sand on his stuff after this. Composed of rainbow polka dot swim trunks his attire would surely be noticed by the other. Plodding down towards the water, Kailie plopped down in the five inch water, stretching his legs and arms out. Sandy water swirled around him with each soft wave. How could anyone not enjoy such a delightful day?
The sky was stained with watercolour drips of white, clouds sailing in the blue sea parallel to the one he now sat in. The sky is a funny thing. In some people, it can bring confusion, or happiness. despair or excitement. Such a large array of emotions from just one thing. But to most everyone, at the very least is felt confusion, or fear of the hauntingly big sky. What is beyond, or in it, nobody knows. They've flown airplanes, shuttles, jets, everything but themselves into the heavens. Yearning for more? Do they expect to find a floating city? Adorned with jewels and futuristic weapons to blow their enemies away with? Or are they looking for a God? Kailie could never really figure this out, this and many other confusingly awe-striking things. No. When Kailie say the sky. All he saw was sadness. It's said a deceased person goes to 'Heaven' in the sky. But only if they think a certain way and are perfect on Earth. An odd concept that he rejected in fear of his mother not being sent there. But up above the world still appeared to be a place of rest for the dead. Laying there, he thought of his Mama pleasantly as he usually would, waiting for Coli to arrive so they could play~.

With a pair of striking blue eyes, a gift from her mother, Michelle is a good looking young woman. She's tall and has quite large feet (all the better to balance with!), but has very fair though tough skin. You could probably pour drain cleaner all over her arm and it'd be fine. Depending on the way you view her, one might have a different first impression. As a man might notice first, she's got hello breasts, and beautiful legs, matched wonderfully with her audacious clothing style. And even to step away from the magnifying haze a man sees through, this would be true to a realistic extent (men are odd. o:). Mickey's hair flairs in wild waves that seem to have a mind all to themselves, tangling easily to the point of breaking weak brushes. Her hair is a dark brunette that brightens in the summer with exposure to the sun and darkens dramatically in the winter. Her slim arms have a rather small amount of muscle in them, but her shoulders always get a good workout from her backpack and therefor can carry quite a load. She looks good in most colours, and tends to wear her hair down or in a ponytail. Her posture is well maintained, making her seem her height. If she's not smiling, it's a sure sign that the gears in her brain are spinning too much to process both actions.

( 300+ words describing your character’s personality )
Spunky and daring Michelle is an active teenager, in between highschool and homework she's at raves and at parties dancing away the darkness of night. This is her. She's bubbly and exciting, yanking others into her fun and trying to make them more outgoing like her. Can you change a personality? Can you really change someone just with exciting scenes of dancing all night or puking after riding the fastest rollercoaster on the eastern side of the US? Thats a good question. Perhaps it's possible. If one person who had always been sheltered in their books was put to experience these excitements or more, would they find themselves to enjoy it and shift in that direction? It can't hurt to try. Micky's thoughts are racy, accelerated and buzzing happily in her mind. Having too many questions and longing for answers she's quite a bit of a bother to the people who aren't used to her. She's to no true religion but believes there must be some figure in the clouds that plays chess silently with a companion. Sliding the pieces with prudent care across the checkered board, dark and light figures of knights and kings, leaders and soldiers. Isn't this the world? What are we to do when the game is over and the board is cleared, replaced, and restarted? This is unknown. The length of time this could span is also unknown. Mortal chess takes quite a while to finish, perhaps it is the same for these 'Gods'? Michelle often thinks through things too quickly, sure of herself never realizing the small mistakes she 'd rushed over until after they've soured things. This can lead to many things said that maybe she didn't fully mean. Friendly as a teddy bear, shes big on hugs especially those big, soft, cuddly bear hugs. She's known to come out of no where, running full rooms to tackle her friends in huge 'glomps' and exclaiming happily over her day. She's the type of person to listen well in class until the last three hours of school and parties till dawn before realizing she'd forgotten homework. Michelle loves pets and has always grown up with them, cats, dogs and everything in between ['cept ferrets]. Dorm rules are evil and she's been forced to downsize to a goldfish whom she affectionantly calls Abe Lincoln. She tells him often how handsome he'd be if he grew a beard like the old president but it hasn't happened yet. When she's doing homework she has the tendency to converse with her fish, explaining what she's doing and taking all his 'advice' for answers. She's not someone who can imagine herself doing something heroic, like a brave person in a movie or maybe a book. How she is now is how she is, how she expects to live her life. If a time calls for courage or a clever decision she'll do her best then, but somehow she doubts she'll be part of something like that. The same with her future life, she'll worry about all that serious stuff when she gets there, part of being a kid means she needs not make those decisions. She tends to be a morning person, and as you would guess this can conflict with her excitement filled nights, her energy slagging dramatically during night hours, especially after ten thirty. But after a small nap her average hyperactive state returns. Instead of going to parties tired and grumpy she either makes sure to take a nap before going, quite a long one, or rather then go to a party at ten that lasts till five am, just go to bed early and wake at three am to party until school. That minimizes going to school on a party hangover too. She's clever and good with problem solving in these predicaments, but yet receives a C+ in math. Go figure.
LIKES:
( At least 5 )
• Celebrations She loves anything that has to do with such joyous festivity. This includes anything from you wedding you may not have invited her to, to a party or rave and small gatherings adorned with friends and family.
• Drinking Energy drinks Oh god. Don't even get me started. One can of this and she's jittery as can be. Barely talking sense and running about ecstatically, she'll spend this burst of energy and then reach for another. This ofcourse leads to a wave of crashing fatigue by the end, but it's worth it she thinks.
• The wind. The wind is so wild, so uncontrollable, so free. It's both fascinating and dangerous. What could be better then that? Such an inspiring element, yet it can wreck havoc in the form of tornadoes and hurricanes, taking lives as it will.
• Children They are a joy to her. Dear and innocent as lambs, frolicking and bouncing about in play. Merry as can be they warm your heart no matter the situation. Michelle adores kids and has always accepted any babysitting job near her, just to be with them. In the future she would like to have children, but when and how many she doesn't know.
• Art. Expressions of love, pain, or any heartfelt emotion can be poured out into art. It's meaningful to Michelle, her mother being an artist, though try all she might all she can draw are stick figures. Her favorite professional abstract artists are Cy Twombly and Fred Williams.
DISLIKES:
( At least 5 )
• Weakness in love So foolish are the people of love, unsure of their hearts but leaping for it anyways. If you love her, tell her! Show her your real, not just some following variable.
• Boring lives It is often said, ' Live life like theres no tomorrow', pertaining to chances that pass once, and only once. Where will you be ten years from now when you are beginning to feel the tug of age on your skin, and bones? Or maybe farther from then, when your life is evident in your mirrored reflection? On your deathbed will you still question and long for the feeling of flight in hang gliding, or the sights of the deep ocean in scuba, the drop of a lifetime in sky diving? Or will you smile and think back on those moments and the thrill you held in your eyes, in your heart? Your choices will effect this, many of your choices, but when that chance comes to call... What will be your answer? Michelle dislikes those who would say 'no'. She doesn't like to dislike people though and will do anything in her effort to convince that person to take the risk and say 'yes'.
• Being bored. It's well. Boring. It's also an easy thing to experience for this young adult, whom even if the conversation is deep and delving deep into the scientific theories of how the Rainbow people of the Rainbow magik waterfall world communicate or something, she'll be likely to randomly say 'I'm bored. D:'. Not to be mistaken for being blantently rude! Just that she really is, and this is her way to tell them perhaps she'll go dance or something to entertain herself.
• Lockers WHY oh WHY must there be lockers?! She can't open one to save her life and therefore resorts to carrying her books in her backpack and haunching around with the fifty pound thing strapped to her. WHY?
• Coffee. Just. Gross. It's bitter and why drink it? If she has to go to a coffee shop with someone, she buys a Frappachino.
SECRETS:
• -lowers voice- SHE SAW THE BURNING OF ROME AND ZOMBIE JESUS.
• She'll do absolutely anything for white chocolate. It doesn't matter what. Swallow a live fish, wear a ridiculous clown suit, ANYTHING.
• She's extremely ticklish. BUT. Only in one place. Behind her ears like a puppy. <3
FEARS:
• I can't include the fears that everyone has such as heights or death. They are too generic and though such deeply affecting fears, do not count. She is Arachnophobic. In other words abnormally fearful of spiders. You'd think it to be a funny prank to say theres a spider on her shoulder? Think again. Firstly ofcourse she'll run frantically in circles to get it off her, terrified as hell and hyperventilating, but as soon as you start laughing as you will, you'll have a knuckle pounding into that face of yours.
• Loosing a buddy The lives of your buddies are precious to you, more then anything else. Or rather, they should be. If her friend were to pass away she would be wrought with grief, mourning for their death. Who wouldn't fear such a thing? She wonders this.
• The Michelin tire man. That giant marshmellowy THING. It's just freaky. Seriously. The way he comes pounding in [They say it's not him, BUT IT'S HIM AS A CHILD] on Ghost busters is terrifying is it not?
HOBBIES:
[/blockquote]
• Dancing Sometimes to no music at all. Who need a rhythm when you can conjure a song in your mind, swaying playfully to it as you wait in line at the store or absentmindedly listen to your friend's chatter. Now yes, this is dancing. But is it true dancing? Not at all. When you've got the rhythm pounding parallel to your own heartbeat, your feet barely touching the ground and the heat of your own skin begging you to move. That is dance, that is what it means to dance.
• Gaming Shooting games are her specialty. She prides herself in being able to beat the ass of others in these video games, but if you sat her down with a puzzle or rpg game she finds it to be much more difficult. Button mashing gets crazy with Micky and often leads to such excessive giggling that she ends up off the couch and on the floor. Challenges are exciting and most often accepted.
• Walking. Who wants to ride a bike or drive through New York? Everything you need is within walking distance. Taking a stroll is so much better for you, and more enjoyable. The shopping and coffee districts beside your home or school are so much smaller but more homey and familiar then popular stores.

OTHER: Grandmother: Mary Kale
HISTORY:
[/ul]
In 1991, a small family paced the white walled waiting room of the Kent Hospital in West Warwick, Rhode Island. Waiting, waiting for the celebration, the joyous first breaths of a baby. Then, Mary Kale was only a mere 72 years old, sitting with her oldest daughter in the available seating. Her dear Son in Law fawned at Eileen's side, looking just as red faced and ready to be sick as her daughter. As her first baby, the doctors reported this one to be quite large, and a c-section would have to be performed. As her first large surgery, Eileen was gathering her bearings for the task. The grandmother had smiled, thinking of her young ones, and each of their births. Why, when she was a young girl, a c-section was crazy talk! Nevertheless, the night went on, blowing at the security of the hospital with billowing Zephyr. The young man, Gabriel returned to the room, sitting near the elder. And finally, in what seemed like ages, they were told they could come in two at a time to see the child and her healthy and joyous mother. It was decided that Gabriel and Mary would be first, being the closest to her in relation. Oh was it a beautiful baby! Long, and plump, with eyes that shone! How proud Eileen was of her baby, her Michelle.
Recalling another faint memory, only a few years later, the grandmother was sitting in the living room watching the news reports. Two cobalt eyes peeked over the edge of the furniture on the far side of the couch, a mop of messy hair atop it's head. Diving back underneath, the toddler snuck to her 'Gammah's other side, leaping out with the intentions of scaring her. With a jump, Mary let out a dramatized yelp before snatching Mickey and holding her tight in a hug. Oh how she had grown! Only two years old! Then three, four, until the span had grown to eight. Age wore at her Memory those six years, but she remembered one weather beaten day. It had rained and rained, for four days straight. Water ran like rivers down the streets, the gutters overflowed, and it continued. Michelle routinely took the bus to school, and that day she had also. But as 4pm ticked nearer, there was no sign of her. Worrying, Mary called her daughter to tell her, who quickly made her way out of the office and home. Worried as well as 5pm drew nearer, both nearly jumped out of their skin by a knock at the door. Hoping it to be Mickey, or at least someone who'd seen her, they rushed to open it. A grinning young girl with round red dimples stared back at them, her long hair brushing the small of her back. Her clothes were filthy! Soaking and covered in mud and dirt, but in her hands was a pup in just about the same condition. " Hi mom! I found him, and he was all alone, can I keep him? I PROMISE to feed him. " She knew the routine already, making a sad face and holding the puppy up to show her how pitiful he looked. Eileen, caring less about the dog, had hugged her lecturing her on chasing pups around such a busy city! Lenard still enjoys sleeping at the end of Michelle's bed at home.
She moved to New York two years ago, when her mom was promoted to a job there, and adapted well to the change in climate and school. The bits and pieces of her past un-recallable by her grandmother where just as any other. She went to school, came back, did homework, ect.
