-Where did you say I saw you again?-
Remember the bench at school? It all started there and Kelly was crying with her hands holding her head after being picked on by one of the more snooty older kids of the school. Jen couldn't help but to go up and try to talk to her and ask what was the matter. Eventually Jennifer was able to get Kelly to talk and tell her what was going on. After their 'chat' Jen gave Kelly her number and told her to call her if she wanted to chat or anything. Now every time Kelly sees Jen in the hall way, she never misses a chance to wave, smile, or say 'hello'.
KELLY's side of the story says:
“I never knew a that strangers could be kind and be there for you. That was what I thought about Jen first- that she was just a stranger with a kind heart. Now I know she is even nicer than that. I come to her with any problems I have, seeking her advice on certain topics and she helps the best way she can. I respect her so much and have such gratitude toward her and ever since that day, we've grown closer together.”
I, JEN think you need my side of the story:
“Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.... That day I saw you crying and all alone on that bench at school my heart went out to you. Nobody should be like that. It took me a while to get you to talk and I sure was hoping you wouldn't push me away. I am glad I too that risk though to talk to you. If I hadn't then we wouldn't be the good friends we are today. I've come to know that you aren't the shy little girl you appeared to be. I'm glad you're coming out of that shell!"
